Here in the United States, one of the most polluting things many homeowners are guilty of is the way they take care of their lawns.В  Millions upon millions of acres of lawn are being subjected to all sort of toxic chemicals and heavy metals, in the form of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.

After adding all these pollutants to the lawn to make the grass grow, we then take a horribly polluting gas mower to cut it all down. One tip on going green is to take a hard look at our lawn.В  Reduce and/or eliminate the chemicals you are adding to the lawn and consider a more eco-friendly lawn mower when it needs replacement.
